Department of Speech and Language Therapy
About
The Speech and Language Therapy Department of the German Medical Institute provides comprehensive services in prevention, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for communication, speech, voice, feeding, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. Our mission is to enhance each person’s communication, verbal or non-verbal, improve their daily life, and support their involvement in the community, by offering personalized and scientifically supported care.
Speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders may arise from neurological conditions (such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, or dementia), head or neck injuries, surgeries, or muscular weakness. Early assessment and interdisciplinary intervention are crucial for restoring functionality and improving the patient’s quality of life.
Our Role

Prevention and awareness through early detection of disorders, public education, and development of health programs.
-

Each therapy program is tailored to the individual’s needs, taking into account cultural, linguistic, and personal factors.
