Anastasia Spanoudaki
Internist
Dr Spanoudaki comes from Lesvos and Crete. She studied medicine in Athens and specialised in Internal Medicine in Paris and Athens.
Her scientific interest in Hepatology led to her specialisation in the field. She completed the School of Clinical Hepatology with honours and worked as a clinical fellow at the university clinic of Hippokrateion hospital in Athens. She completed the training program in «Liver Intensive Care» at Paul Brousse hospital, the first liver transplant unit in France. From 02/2024 she is a member of the GMI internal medicine team and runs the hepatology outpatient clinic, one of the few in Cyprus.
Patients who present with liver test abnormalities, findings in liver imaging such as fatty liver or chronic liver diseases like autoimmune hepatitis can be followed-up at the outpatient clinic.
Dr Spanoudaki believes that modern medicine should be individualised, treating every patient with the outmost respect.
