Dr. Eleni Kleanthous is originally from Limassol and is a Consultant Anesthesiologist with extensive experience in providing high-quality perioperative care for both adult and pediatric patients. Her clinical practice encompasses a wide spectrum of surgical procedures as well as specialized diagnostic and interventional procedures, with particular emphasis on patient safety, personalized anesthetic management, and the application of modern anesthesia techniques.
She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Crete and completed her residency training in Anesthesiology at Nicosia General Hospital. She obtained her Specialist Title in Anesthesiology in 2019 from the Hellenic Medical Association. In addition, she holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management from the Open University of Cyprus.
Dr. Kleanthous has significant experience in the management of complex surgical cases, the application of advanced regional anesthesia techniques, and the management of difficult airways. She has also developed particular expertise in pediatric anesthesia and in providing sedation and anesthesia for specialized imaging and interventional procedures.
During her professional career, she has served at Archbishop Makarios III Hospital as well as in private healthcare institutions in Cyprus, actively participating in the anesthetic management of major surgical procedures and complex oncologic cases.
Dr. Kleanthous remains actively engaged in continuing medical education and scientific activities and holds internationally recognized certifications including Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS).
