Ioannis Tsechelides

Nuclear Doctor

Dr. Tsechelidis Ioannis was born in Ptolemaida, Western Macedonia, Greece. He studied and received his medical degree at the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. 


He was trained and worked as a Nuclear Medicine Physician in Hippokration Hospital of Thessaloniki, Greece. He worked as Nuclear Medicine Physician in Univertity Hospital Erasme ULB of Bruxelles, Belgium, reporting PET/CT exams and Scintigraphies of entire spectrum of Nuclear Medicine. He was specialized in radioembolism of malignant hepatic lesions being the radioisotopist of reference at this site. 


He joined the Department of Nuclear Medicine of the German Oncology Institute in December 2017 and in particular in PET/CT section; this diagnostic method is provided to citizens of Republic of Cyprus for first time.
