Yiannis Diamantis

Anaesthesiologist

Dr. Yiannis Diamantis was born in Limassol and studied Medicine at RWTH Aachen University in Germany. He subsequently specialised in Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine, gaining valuable clinical experience in hospitals in Düsseldorf.

Over the course of his career, he has developed extensive experience in the administration of anaesthesia for procedures of all levels of complexity and for patients of all age groups. He is particularly skilled in the application of regional anaesthesia techniques, as well as in the management of chronic pain.

During his specialisation in Intensive Care, he acquired in-depth knowledge in the treatment of patients with severe and complex conditions. His clinical skills include invasive haemodynamic monitoring, mechanical respiratory support, parenteral and enteral nutritional therapy, application of extracorporeal treatments and other advanced interventions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he actively participated in the care of patients at all stages of the disease.

He is a certified physician in Prehospital Emergency Care and has worked regularly with the ambulance services in Düsseldorf. His duties included making immediate and critical decisions on site, implementing life-saving interventions without delay, and ensuring the safe inter-hospital transport of critically ill patients.

Today, Dr. Diamantis is a member of the Anaesthesiology Team at the German Medical Institute, maintaining a consistent focus on high-quality and patient-centred care.
