New Collaboration between the German Medical Institute and Professor Christos Toumpanakis

We are delighted and honored to announce the beginning of our hospital’s collaboration with Professor Christos Toubanakis, one of the leading gastroenterologists in London, specializing in Neuroendocrine Tumors (NETs) and internationally recognized as an expert in this field.

Professor Toubanakis, Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Royal Free Hospital London and Professor at the University College London (UCL) Medical School, has been awarded the Top-Teacher of the Year award five times.

He has served as Chair of the ENETS Advisory Board (2020–2022), is an author of the European and British Guidelines for Neuroendocrine Tumors, and his research team is pioneering the study of new biomarkers and imaging techniques in NETs.

Our collaboration marks another step towards enhancing specialized care and clinical excellence in the therapeutic management of patients with neuroendocrine tumors.
