International Nurses Day and European Oncology Nursing Day

On the 12th and 18th of May, we honor International Nurses Day and European Oncology Nursing Day, respectively. We pay tribute to nurses—the vital lifeblood of every healthcare system, the backbone of hospitals, and the tireless guardians of patients. Nursing is a vocation that demands scientific knowledge, professional ethics, and humanitarian virtues—all of which our Center’s nurses exemplify without compromise.

An event was held at the initiative of the German Oncology Center’s management to honor the contributions of nurses in a warm and pleasant atmosphere.

The Director of Nursing Services, Ms. Aphrodite Kassini, stated among other things:“We are proud of each and every one of you and thank you for your invaluable contribution! I assure you that we are by your side, individually, for anything that troubles you. You have a voice—for discussion, for suggestions, for ideas, for a hand on your shoulder.”
